Wrapping Up 2025
In this newsletter, we give you some of our favorite stats from last year, which is just a way of giving thanks to God for all that he has done through our ministry! We’ve also got some exciting announcements about events coming up and help we’re looking for. See below for more!

Less is More?
As our inboxes are flooded with emails about how to maximize 2026, my aim is not to add to the noise but to encourage you to do less. I am talking to myself in saying this, too.
“Here’s my point: the solution to an over busy life is not more time. It’s to slow down and simplify our lives around what really matters.”
-John Mark Comer, The Ruthless Elimination of Hurry
One of the most common complaints that the team and I hear from parents struggling to pass on their faith is that they are too busy or do not have enough time. If you find yourself in this same boat, consider this your sign to quit something. In prayer, ask the Lord, “Lord what are you calling me into and what are you calling me out of?”
While the answer to those questions may make you uneasy, we know the Lord is a good Father who will not lead us astray. Why does slowing down cause me so much unease? This is a question worth asking.
We pray that you can spend 2026 playing games with your children, going outside, and gathering around the table for family dinners.
Has to be Jesus; can’t be us!

Looking for Help: Ministry with Families
at St. Vincent de Paul
Recently, the team met with Ms. Sunnie Johnson-Lain, CEO of St, Vincent de Paul in Baton Rouge, about how to help parents at the shelter hand on the faith to their children. Are you a family that might be called to be a regular presence to the neighbors who live there? Ask the Lord, and contact us!
Join Our Mission: Spiritual and Financial Discipleship
The Dominus Project is run by Franciscan Missionaries of Our Lady University, a non-profit, small-but-mighty Catholic university in Baton Rouge. We care about the community. We care about families in our land. We would love for you to join our mission by praying and sacrificing for us and by asking the Lord if He might want you to contribute financially to us. We also want to pray for you! We have a team holy hour and Mass every week for our Dominus family, so let us know whom and what we can offer up.
How can we pray for you?
